By accessing or using Ink Wise ("the Service"), operated by Teachnology Pty Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Ink Wise is an AI-powered academic writing platform that provides writing assistance, feedback, and educational tools for students and educators. The Service includes:
- AI writing mentor for guided feedback
- Document creation and management
- Assignment management for educators
- Progress tracking and analytics
- Peer review facilitation
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You must create an account to use most features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3.3 Account Types
- Individual: Personal accounts for independent learners
- Student: Accounts linked to an educational institution
- Educator: Accounts with classroom management capabilities
- Institutional: Enterprise accounts for organizations
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to circumvent AI safety measures or prompt injection
- Use AI-generated content to misrepresent work as your own (academic dishonesty)
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
5. Academic Integrity
Ink Wise is designed to be a learning tool, not a shortcut. The AI mentor provides guidance and feedback to help you develop your own ideas and writing skills. You are responsible for:
- Ensuring your submitted work represents your own thinking and effort
- Following your institution's academic integrity policies
- Properly citing any sources, including AI assistance where required
- Not using the Service to complete work for others
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide the Service.
6.2 Our Content
The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Teachnology Pty Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without permission.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
7.1 Free Tier
Basic features are available for free with usage limits. Free accounts may be subject to feature restrictions.
7.2 Paid Plans
Premium features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law.
7.3 Institutional Licenses
Educational institutions may purchase licenses under separate enterprise agreements. Contact us for institutional pricing.

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
